  • 1963

    Founder Hiroshi Suzuki began research on flame retardants

  • 1970

    Company established in Nihonbashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, with capital of 1 million yen

  • 1971

    Started contract manufacturing of flame-retardant additives for rubber and plastics

  • 1974

    Established manufacturing and research facilities in Moriya Town, Ibaraki Prefecture; headquarters relocated

  • 1978

    Capital increased to 4 million yen

  • 1979

    Designed and introduced a special twin-screw extruder for high-concentration flame-retardant masterbatch development

  • 1984

    Capital increased to 10 million yen

  • 1985

    Introduced large-scale powder processing equipment at the headquarters plant; began production of antimony trioxide "AT3" and the "FCP Series"
